The Digital Belt and Road (DBAR) program extends a prestigious invitation to global participants for the 7th Digital Belt and Road Conference “Digital Technology Facilitates Sustainable Development” The special session that AIT BRRC co-organized on “Regional Application and Service of Big Earth Data in China-ASEAN”. The conference, hosted in Beijing, China from 4th – 6th September, 2023, at the Beijing International Convention Center.

The conference is being jointly organized by the International Research Center of Big Data for Sustainable Development Goals (CBAS), Aerospace Information Research Institute, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the Asian Institute of Technology Belt and Road Research Center (AIT BRRC), with the gracious support of the Digital Belt and Road Program (DBAR). This event holds great significance as it marks the 10-year milestone of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), the midpoint of the 2030 Agenda’s implementation, and the key stage (2023-2026) of the ‘Digital Belt and Road Program’.

The conference will delve into the advancements in Digital Technology and Data Governance, which have played a crucial role in assessing Sustainable Development Goals and the Global Development Initiative. With the aim of enhancing the Belt and Road Initiative and sustainable development, the DBAR Conference will review the program’s achievements and contribute to future UN Summits and Global Development Initiatives.
