On December 11, 2025, BRRC coordinated a high-level meeting with a distinguished delegation from the Research Center for Eco-Environmental Sciences (RCEES) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS), and leading Chinese environmental technology firms. This gathering aimed to deepen institutional partnerships and explore concrete avenues for collaborative research and innovation to address pressing regional and global sustainability challenges. AIT President Prof. Pai-Chi Li welcomed the delegation, underscoring AIT’s steadfast commitment to fostering international alliances that translate scientific excellence into tangible solutions.

The delegation was led by Prof. Chengzhi Hu, Deputy Director of the Eco-Environmental Research Center at RCEES, and included senior academics as well as executives from Guangwei (Zhongshan) Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. and Lihe Technology (Hunan) Co., Ltd. Dr. Wenchao Xue, Director of the BRRC, facilitated the strategic discussions, which focused on identifying key synergies in areas such as joint research initiatives, scholar and student exchanges, and technology transfer. This dialogue effectively connected AIT’s interdisciplinary expertise in sustainable development with RCEES’s scientific prowess and the industry partners’ applied innovation.

This meeting marks a significant step forward in formalizing a powerful collaborative triad among academia, research, and industry. The discussions laid a strong foundation for developing structured partnerships that promise to generate impactful projects and sustainable technologies. By leveraging these synergies, AIT and its partners are poised to make substantial contributions to environmental stewardship and green growth across Asia and beyond.
