On September 2nd, 2025, Dr. Wenchao Xue, Director of the Belt and Road Research Center (BRRC) , AIT, served as a judge for the global final of the ISETS-ESCAP Global Competition of Youth Voice on Energy Transition. The event, a key part of the United Nations Asia-Pacific Energy Week in Bangkok, showcased innovative proposals from young leaders worldwide aimed at advancing sustainable energy solutions.
In her role, Dr. Xue provided expert evaluations and insights on the participants’ projects, emphasizing the critical importance of youth innovation in driving the global energy transition.
