On January 15th, 2025 – A group of delegation led by Dr. Junwei Wang, Vice President Operation & Public Relations, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Innovation Cooperation Center (Bangkok) in Thailand who is BRRC collaborator, visited Asian Institute of Technology Belt and Road Research Center. Dr. Zhang Ruiyong, Institute of Oceanology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Dr. Zhang Yimeng, Institute of Oceanology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, were in the visiting group. Dr. Wenchao Xue, Director of BRRC, Associate Professor, Academic Chair of Environment Engineering and Management, SET, AIT, cordially welcomed the group.
The Institute of Oceanology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences is the first comprehensive scientific research institution specializing in marine scientific research in China. The Institute has made many foundational and pioneering works in the field of marine basic research and applied basic research, leading the development of marine science in China. This visit and meeting are to explore the possibility of research collaboration in Thailand, regarding marine resources and environment.
